Why I Like Game Consoles and What I like about the Games
The first time I played a video game was when I was the age of 5. I received a game for Christmas called Sonic The Hedgehog (Sonic 06) for the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, the game was, at the time, the wort game of the year. It had poor graphics, bad art styles, poor cutscenes and was very hard to maneuver the character. The only thing that critics gave the game credit for would be the story, and even that was given low credibility. However, me and my siblings enjoyed the game and we loved to mess around with the glitches that it offered. However, we did have other games on the Xbox 360 besides Sonic the Hedgehog. We have Open Season, Up, Spiderman, Bolt, and other games. Another game console that I enjoyed growing up with was the V.Smile, an educational game system developed by VTech. However, my memory is a blur when it comes to the system because we had little to no games for it. Another game system that I enjoyed would be The Wii-U. I enjoyed playing on the Wii-U for a few years because it allowed me to play some of my favorite franchises on there such as Legend of Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles, Super Mario, Sonic and other games. However, the console that’s beating Sony and Microsoft in terms of gaming, and the one that I believe is very creative, is the Nintendo Switch. Right now, the Nintendo Switch is at the top of my list. It has better graphics than some of my other consoles, it has some of my favorite franchises, and it’s accessible almost all the time.
